Each time you overwrite a file in the I-Lab Research Area, the older version is not simply overwritten, but is copied to a different location, where it will be retained for a certain amount of time and you can restore it.

To check for older versions of a file:

• navigate to the Research Area of the I-Lab Portal
• In the search bar, choose the option Search revision by name and type in the name of the file you’re looking for.
• The result set shows you all the older versions of the file.
• Pick the version you want to restore and click on it
